Confessions of a baker.....My name is rebekah wikle and I'm in love with my Nutrimill grinder and my Bosch Mixer and blender.
It all started around Christmas time when I asked Troy (Santa) for a Kitchen Aide. I couldn't decide which model to order so I called family and friends for advice. The final consensus was 90% in favor of the Bosch. (Now that I've used my Bosch I 100% agree. The power is awe inspiring.)
January came and went but no Bosch. After making three loaves of whole wheat bread that were more like bricks than bread I decided that it was time to splurge. With my saved subbing money I bought a Nutramill grinder and Bosch mixer with blender. It was love at first grind, mix, and blend. I blended vegetables with no problems at all. The grinder took less than 3 minutes to grind what used to take me ten plus minutes with my Walmart coffee grinder. The texture of the bread I mixed almost brought tears to my eyes. Love, love, love it! Worth every penny! Now I just need more subbing jobs to pay for my trip to Savannah in April.

Confessions of a bed hater....His name is Troy Wikle and he's in love with his Love Sac.
Troy has often talked about the good old days of sleeping on a little orange bean bag and how well he slept. In the same breath he'd say how much he hates sleeping on a mattress. I thought if he picked out a mattress himself from the furniture store that he'd be more willing to sleep on the bed. He didn't like any of the beds we tried so that didn't work. I'd suggested getting a Love Sac but Troy never jumped on the idea.
Fortunately February's garage sale God's were smiling upon us. A Love Sac for sale! Troy hurried over on his bike to check it out and sure enough bought it. It takes up the majority of our living room but Troy isn't complaining about the space problems. He's too busy reliving the good old days.

Unfortunately for Rebekah Troy sleeps on the Love sac more often than he does on the bed. I tried to sleep next to him on the love sac once but had to abandon it at 2:30 am due to my aching back. So now Troy alternates between the bed and the love sac.

I could make a fuss and have Troy sleep on the bed every night but I'm just so glad that he's happy that I'm willing to sacrifice. Besides, "Sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven." Every other night I get the bed all to myself. :)

Man, I miss the Wikle's! I wish I could try out your homemade bread and squish past the love sack to get through your living room. I also wish I could bike ride with you in the wonderful winter weather there. Of course, now you're too pregnant to bike it, and I've got a kiddo, but we could have thrown Hazel in the Baby Bjorn and taken power walks still!
I hear you girlfriend!! Don't forget about those fabulous office nights. Someday!
I'm more interested in your grinder, Dave was asking if I would really use it if we got it..."what happens if the power goes out? Can you still use it?"
I'll have to talk with you more about it. :)
Oh how your blog makes me miss ya Bek!! lol Fun to read. Nice love sac, we're jealous!
I am still giggling! I am happy that Troy is happy. But even more happy that you bought the bosch! I told you it was heaven! Making bread is now so fabulous! I am so happy for you! Congrats!
Aw Rebekah, don't worry yourself over the advanced preparation for the baby. It won't be long before your bed is full of babies, toddlers and bread crumbs. Troy will be so jealous that there is no room for him in your bed or his lovesac. At least he does like sleeping on floors.
Troy bought something at a garage sale? This is the ammunition you've been waiting for. Now that Troy understands that garage sales have great stuff, he'll never be able to question you about going to them. I hope the sac helps with his sleeping!
I have ?'s about your grinder too! How much was it? Did you say it does more than grind wheat? Where did you get it?
I've been wanting one myself. For Christmas I got a KitchenAid and have been sorely disappointed with it! I've already exchanged it once and the new one is starting to have the same problem! I'm trying to decide if I should get the grinder that attaches to the kitchenaid or one like yours. Please share what you know!
Thanks girlie! I'm so gealous!
