Sorry about the lag in posts. Sometimes I can't think of anything to post and other times life gets busy. I plead the latter this week. I've had two subbing jobs and a day of doctors apointments. A busy week for the domestic engineer! Well I do have some exciting news....I finished my first knitting project. It's a scarf in case you couldn't tell from the fabulous accompanying visual. (Troy is asleep so I modeled it myself.) Knitting was rough at first but after starting over twenty or so times and getting help from my neighbor Sue I figured it out. It really is an enjoyable, relaxing activity. Therefore, I've got some more knitting projects planned. Hopefully Sue can fit me into her busy schedual. I'll keep you posted. Have a great rest of your week everyone!

it's cute! I could never knit, I'm a crocheter...Either way you make cute stuff. Looks warm! way to go!
I love to knit as well! Love the color of your scarf... I love to get a quick update from a far-away friend. Hope things are going well with the baby. :)
Congratulations Rebekah! I seldom knit but I'm glad I know how. I'm equally glad I wasn't born in a time when I had to knit socks and build clothing one thread at a time.
You're awesome! Keep it up.
It looks so great! Good for you on figuring out the knitting. Aunt Barbara helped me get started, but I still think of each stitch as a 10-step process. Needless to say, I've never quite achieved the relaxing level of competency. The scarf looks really comfortable!
Congratulations. It's fun to see talents show up in another generation. It looks wonderfully comforting and comfortable. Enjoy!
love you all
How are you and baby doing?
How are Troy's classes going?
Hey that looks really good. I was going to tell you last night that I knit too! I love it, it is fun!!!
Ooooooo, so pretty! I love the scarf. I have been making baby blankets for my projects. And I agree, it is rather relaxing once you get the hang of it. So I finally have some posts to look at. Sorry for the delay.
Good job girl! That looks super cute!
