"Fall is in the air, every where I look around." Actually it looked like this a week ago. Now it looks more like baren winter and it's freezing. I woke up one morning last week and looked outside at my potted tomato plant. It looked droopy so I filled up a pitcher and went out to water it. When I checked the soil it was good and moist so I felt the leaves. They felt like frozen lettuce. Oops! Lesson learned: Next time I'll be sure to watch the news for the forecast and make sure the plants are covered. I wonder what frozen green cherry tomatoes taste like?

We moved to CA my junior year. It was the first time I experienced "Fall". The leaves just died and fell off. Yuck! You have AUTUMN. It's soooo much prettier. It does work better to watch the weather for the garden. How do the tomatoes taste. We dehydrated a bunch this year that the neighbors gave us. They're great. We also got a big box of walnuts. Wish it were practical to exchange some. Let us know what all you try.

HI Rebekah,
take the tomatoes inside and they will ripen slowly and you will have nice tomatoes for another month. If it weren't freezing you can just stomp the stem to break it and they ripen quickly outside.
Happy Thanksgiving:)Love you!

Wow, the leaves are pretty! Hopefully your cold spell will blow over pretty soon.
