There's no place like home!

A lady came into work the other day that reminded me of my mother. It brought tears to my eyes and made my heart wish that I was going home for Christmas. Never thought that I'd miss my first home so much. I'm trying not to get too "trunky" so that I don't miss out on fun Alabama memories but...

"There's no place like home for the Holidays. No matter how far away you roam. If you want to be happy in a million ways, for the Holidays you can't beat home sweet home."

Ain't that the truth!

That's one of my favorite Christmas songs!!! It definitely has a ring of truth to it. Home, to me, is where my husband is, no matter where in the world we might be at the time.
We hope you guys have a merry little Christmas!!

Speaking of it, when ARE you guys going to be home? And more importantly, are we going to go do something together when you're here?

The kids really miss their bedtime ritual of getting all crazy hyper from running around the house, playing hide-and-seek, and getting tickled to death with you guys!

We'll be back in Utah sometime next August or so. We miss you guys too! Everytime we drive past your road we have a moment of silence. Merry Christmas!

We miss having you where we can get to see you. Are you going to be able to go to Brian and Joce's? Marc's are going to be here between Christmas and New Year's! But they and Kristie's are the only ones we'll get to see this year. Home for me is everywhere there is family. Have a fun Christmas!

Oh Rebekah, I hope you and Troy had a wonderful Christmas.

It is lonely to not be around your extended family, but the Lord compensates. It seems like he has done a terrific job of surrounding you with lots of good friends. You are very lucky.

I love you guys!
