I was almost done with a second degree in secondary education before Troy and I left Logan, Utah for Fort Rucker, AL. Lucky for me I got to do my student teaching under the watchful eye of Madame Sislo at both Dothan and North View High. What fun it all was! I loved every minute of it because the students were "la creme de la creme" and because Madame Sislo didn't take herself or me too seriously. Oh, how we would laugh and joke and dabble in the French language (also refered to by Troy as "that potty language"). In the end we had to part ways but I have souvenirs that remind me of the good old days. The above video clip is of the first year class at North View High. They surprised me with this rendition of a song that I had taught them. Awww! Aren't they precious!

We were married in the Mount Timpanogas Temple in American Fork on the 13th of May 2005. Lucky for us it rained the day before so that the temple gardners couldn't change out the lovely flowers. Troy was a good sport except when we had to kiss in public. He told me that I'd only get one kiss that day and that it would be in the temple. Little did he know that my good friend Lori Knapp would prove to be too persuasive and con him into two more kisses. I loved every last one of them and didn't pay any attention to the onlookers. I was on a cloud.

Troy: "I gave in because I was being nice and not because of Lori's "nagging"
